Cowboys & Angels

Cowboys & Angels Hairdressing is a pioneering, landmark boutique Irish business, etched in the memory of many South City Dubliners.

Established in 1995, when South William Street was neglected and undeveloped, Sheila Burke, as the founding director, took a considerable leap of visionary faith. As the first hair salon ever established on South William Street, Cowboys & Angels ongoing success resulted in numerous other salons following. South William Street has since evolved to where it is now known as the "Creative Quarter".

One of the busiest and most successful salons in not just Ireland but Europe

Over the years, Cowboys & Angels has earned the reputation and renown of being one of the busiest and most successful salons in not just Ireland but Europe — Evidence that something good is going on here.

Wholly owned by Sheila Burke, Cowboys & Angels is a testament to her vision — Hairdressing that is about making people feel special. Inspired by art and design, Sheila regards Hairdressing as a method of personal transformation, a way to being uplifted and feeling at ease in the world, and one element in an individuals style and overall look. Giving rise to our maxim:

You might come in with a picture or an idea of what you'd like, but you'll always leave with a real sense of self.

“And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others” ― Marianne Williamson
